This set of films are based on the insight that when you are talk about something or someone from your childhood, you talk in your native language.
The film opens on a conference room setting. There seems to a be a serious meeting in progress. A waiter walks in with a plate full of pakoras and tea in fine bone china.
One of the gentlemen, a young executive picks up one of the pakoras with much style. There is green chutney kept next to it, he dips the pakora in it and takes a bite.
As he takes a bite, he starts appreciating it in his native language. “Ahaaaaa… jibhiya pe aisan bhaa gaili ki Mausi yaad aa gaili”
SUPER (translation): Mmmmm….so delicious…like my mausi used to make… wow!!!
The others around him are taken aback. We go the CU of his face and the VO kicks in,
MVO: Hommade Chutney ka aisa swaad…. Ki dila de ghar ki yaad.
We pull out to show a burst of ingredients like mint, coriander, green chillis, garlic etc.
MVO: Taaza, chuninda ingredients se bani.
MVO: Taaza, chuninda ingredients se bani.
They land on a silbatta and then the paste gets filled into the Hommade Chutney pack. The other 2 packs join to form the range shot.
We end the film on this executive licking his fingers in the conference room.
MVO: Hommade Chutney khao, ghar pahunch jao.

The film opens in the house of a newly wed couple. They have another couple over as guests. Their friend has married a German woman and they are over for a visit. The atmosphere is a bit serious as they are all trying to converse in English to keep the guest comfortable.
There is a plate of kachoris accompanied by a bowl of garlic chutney on the table.
The wife picks up a kachori instantly. She seems to be a foodie. She dips her kachori in the chutney and continues to take a bite.
As soon as he takes a bite, she starts blurting out something in her native language,
Women: “Ya bohot swaad che…man ma naani ki yaad duwao je”
SUPER (translation): it is very tasty…reminds me of my naani… wow!!!

The film ends on the husband trying to explain this to his guests.

The film opens one day in a student’s hostel. There is a new warden and a group of students are sitting trying to impress him. The warden seems like someone with a strict look on his face. He seems to be stern and the boys are putting their best foot forward.
The canteen guy walks in with a tray filled with samosas and pakoras.

The warden picks up the samosa and he dips it in the green chutney.
He starts appreciating it in his native language.

Warden: “Bohote shwaad..kail bana de chiyo..mummy yaad dila de”
